Lyric University exist for one reason and one reason only, our goal is to cultivate a new era of lyricism in hip hop by directly challenging MC's to improve their lyrical ability through competition.
The theory is simple, by providing all "students" with the same instrumental to make an original composition; the only way to differentiate one's self is through lyrical content, the usage of metaphors, similes, wordplay and vocabulary.
The innate desire to be "The Best" that resides within every true MC should spark supreme creativity amongst those who understand the true essence of hip hop music.
We are attempting to build an environment where MC's not only inspire one another but push each other to get better.
